Mark Smit has been the lead singer of Knight Area since the beginning of the band in 2003 until his departure in the year 2018. Mark wrote most of the lyrics for our "Relations" album and wrote one beautifull French song..

Gijs Koopman with his characteristic bass and bass pedal sound is of course familiar to us from bands like Cliffhanger, Knight Area, Sylvium and Ulysses! He wrote some powerfull songs for the "Relations" album.

Rinie Huigen plays loads of electric guitars and acoustic guitars on our "Relations" album and wrote two beautifull atmospheric songs on this new album. You may know him from bands like Cliffhanger, Knight Area and Idris.

Jens van der Valk plays a lot of electric guitars on our "Relations" album. He is also guitarist of the band Autumn.

Judith van der Valk plays again some wonderful flute parts on our "Relations" album. You may know her from the band Idris.

Jan Grijpstra plays all the drums and percussion on our "Relations" album. He is also drummer of the band Autumn.

Masaki ("Makkie") Shimakawa plays some atmospheric violin parts on our "Relations" album.

Ron Lammers is the founder of The Foundation.  He is the leader of the pack. Responsible for this new theme, wrote two melodic songs and plays keys on all songs. You may know him as a radio host and owner of Xymphonia Records.

Jan Munnik  is  our producer and mixing wizard! You may know him from the band Autumn.

Douwe Fledderus is responsible for the beautiful graphic design of our "Relations" album. He knows how to creatively convert a central theme into beautiful artwork, clips and teasers. You may know him as a graphic designer from Blissy Design.
