THE FOUNDATION WINS iO PAGES PROG AWARD 2025 !

"The iO Pages' 2025 Prog Award goes to The Foundation. This Dutch band impressed the editors with its melodious neo-prog of pure class. With former members of Cliffhanger, Autumn, and Knight Area in the ranks, the musical quality is assured, and their second album, Relations, shows impressive growth. What began as a friendly project around keyboardist Ron Lammers developed into a close-knit studio group. Besides their musicianship, The Foundation deserves praise for their perseverance and dedication to the genre. Lammers himself has been a key figure in the Dutch prog scene since the 1990s—through his radio programs, label, and concert organization—and with The Foundation, he knows how to translate his love of progressive rock into his own music in an inspiring way."

Met oud-leden van Cliffhanger, Autumn en Knight Area in de gelederen is de muzikale kwaliteit verzekerd, en het tweede album Relations toont een indrukwekkende groei. Wat begon als een vriendschappelijk project rond toetsenist Ron Lammers ontwikkelde zich tot een hechte studiogroep.
